For many decades, the Kiwanis Club of Pampa has had their American Flag Project where they place Old Glory outside businesses on specific holidays. In 2024, the Kiwanis Club decided to turn this project over to another organization, and have selected Hoover VFD. With this project, Old Glory is placed outside participating businesses around Pampa on 5 select holidays as weather permits: Memorial Day, Flag Day, Independence Day, Patriot Day, and Veterans Day.

Hoover Firefighters will place the designated number of flags outside your business on the morning of the designated holidays, and will pick them up in the late afternoon/early evening.
